Beautiful path! Rent bikes, walk or run, it’s nice and flat with beautiful scenery. Hop on and off at many spots throughout town.Full review by KatherineWragge

Autumn in New England varies from state to state. in NH and northern Vermont, prepare for cloudy and rainy days. Make sure that you plan to come around the 2nd week in October when foliage seems to be at its brightest. One bad rain storm can really rip the colors from the trees (as tends to happen in autumn).

The Alchemist is not right on the rec path but is not far off it. At the location of the Alchemist the path is running parallel to 108 but a bit south of it. The Alchemist is just slightly north of 108. I don’t recall seeing kids in there. It pretty much a busy retail operation. You can see the brewery thru glass and there is a tasting counter. I’d try to take the kids in. If they say no, one can go in taste, reverse roles and after that one can make the purchases. There’s other good breweries just north in Morrisville. Rock Art, Lost Nation and ultra micro Ten Bends all right off Rt 100. Well worth it if you are into ales.
Q:
how long is the trail and where does it start and end
A:
It's 5.3 miles. We biked it from the covered bridge area. We stayed at a hotel that had bikes and the trail started just off their property.
