Great drive out to the beach. The beach itself is pristine and the water is warm. The camels roaming around and the picturesque cliffs and ocean makes this a superb little trip.Full review by AAleR

The scenery is so beautiful! The 1h drive going there is so peaceful. We went in an off peak season so there was little to no tourists at all.Full review by Dream36313929693

We rented a car there in Salalah from Mark Tours. They were so helpful. It is very, very easy to drive your own car there. You just head out of town toward Yemen and the road will take you to Mugshail Beach. You park your car and walk around the cliff (which is Marneef cave), and there it is. We went in February but the sea was calm so no big splashes! But the water is beautiful and you could still hear the noise. We still enjoyed it, but recommend going when the surf is rough and at high tide to get the best effect. Also, if you get back on the road and go further toward Yemen, you will pass a small grove of Frankincense trees on your right. Keep going and you will get to a point on your left where you can turn to Al Fazayih beach. It will be best to have a 4wd vehicle to get back out of there, but the road will take you down to the beach with AMAZING views. The beach has little pockets between the rocks where visitors can basically feel like they are in their own world. This worked well for us because the surf was very calm and swimmable. So, if you go on a calm water day, you will be rewarded at Al Fazayih beach and if you go on a rough surf day, you will be rewarded at the blow holes!
