Saroma Eppi

Saroma is a town in the Okhotsk Subprefecture, Hokkaido, Japan. The name Saroma comes from the Ainu place name Saro-oma-pet, meaning place of many miscanthus reeds. As of January, 2013, the town has a population of 5,617 and a population density of 14 persons per km². The total area is 404.99 km².
