We rented scooters to cruise along the bike path, and they were surprisingly affordable. We even made it all the way to Venice Beach! Along the way, we shopped, grabbed a bite to eat, and had a blast.Full review by Ralph a

Each time I visit the beach, I see orange flags posted near open lifeguard towers. What do they mean?

The flags mark the designated swimming and body-boarding area. There is no surfing allowed between the flags. The lifeguard places the Flags in the safest area to swim...
