Enrique was a wonderful guide! He was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot. It was a very nice, comfortable pace and the scenery was gorgeous! I have trouble walking and I did this "hike" easily.Full review by Kdneitzel2003

Sarah was a skillful driver and took us all around the volcano for exceptional views. The hike was a lot of fun and she had lots of good comments.Full review by P622SBmichaelf
Do you cover the Pipiwai trail and waimoku falls in any of the hikes?

Hike Maui does have a Pride of American tour. We opted to book the non-cruise ship excursion on a day the ship was overnight in port so we didn't have to worry about getting back by a certain time. This allowed us to take the longer Hike Maui trip. We had 3 waterfalls and I think the shore excursion has 2. We were also able to jump off a 20 foot rock at the 3rd waterfall-the cruise ship doesn't allow that.
Hi All I am interested in doing the east maui waterfall hike. I will be selecting the hotel pick up option. I was wondering what time does this hike usually begin?

Hi Melania, It really depends on your hotel & how far along you are on their route. Assuming you're in the Wailea area, the pickups between hotels are pretty quick (since they seem to pick up all the people in the general area at the same time). For ours, when we did that tour, we were staying at the Andaz Maui, and they picked us up at 8:45am. They told us to be outside & waiting by then. It was a pretty seamless pickup, and I don't think you'll have any problems with the hotel pick up option. Ask your hotel too, if they're the ones who set you up with that trip. Generally they would be able to help you answer all of your questions. I know our concierge at the Andaz did everything for us (reserve, check info, etc), and all we had to do was show up at the right time! Hope you enjoy the tour! It's a great tour & we even got to go into a couple of waterfalls. If you get the chance, try to jump off of the cliff from the waterfalls (depending on who your tour guide is - we got a guy named Ka'hi). And if your tour guide offers to take you down the old waterway by "sliding down" the tube, take them up on it! Definitely a great highlight for us & we would definitely do this trip again!
