Hello to anyone who may still be curious about this subject. The guide Bill took me in in May to see the bios and allowed me to stay about 2 1/2 hours to take photos of them. I would only do that on a private tour, which you could do from early May to Memorial Day weekend. From then on you have to go with a group. Bill was a magnificent guide!! Just call at least a week ahead to make sure to set it up if they can. It will cost more, but it’s more than worth it. Please give him or Britney an extra tip for going out of their way to give you a great experience. I did and Bill was satisfied.
