Architecture was amazing. Well worth a visit. The outside gives you a taste of what is to come. You are guided around this house in a small group with an audio guide. They give you plastic to put on …Full review by Nomad17199361906

I highly recommend touring Casa Amatller. While I’m a huge Gaudí fan, I was blown away by this gem designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch in 1900. It’s a bit of a hidden treasure, so I got to explore it …Full review by Odyssey48284974977
It is possible to have a self-guided tour here with audioguide? If yes, how I can get this kind of ticket, I see on website only guided tour at 11 am in English and nothing about standard ticket for 1 hour. Thanks

Yes, auto-guided tour seemed possible. Tickets can be obtained on site only and entry times are fixed like visiting time between guided tours.
Hello! Do you need to pre-book your visit? We have limited time in Barcelona and would like to see as much as possible by trying to plan ahead where necessary! Thank you!

They have guided tours every half an hour, but this one is definitely the one not to be missed, even if you see nothing else in Barcelina, go there. Count on a cup of hot chocolate or lunch in their cafe at the back, they have sitting out the back too, one of them on a swing! Also, while at the cafe, note that this was the original canteen of the family and the weird ring on the floor you'll be passing by, it was actually the garage for their car, that ring was turning because at those times cars had no rear gear! This house was very advanced for it's time back then! There are a few more things that could be copied into modern houses! By the way, don't be put out by reception desk at the entrance, walk on if you just want to see the cafe. They also sell chocolates from the original recepies and packaging, so that's what we bought for souvenirs instead of magnets. Beautiful stained glass windows, magnificent architecture and sculptures, there is a lot to cover lots of different aspects in one place. My opinion.
Please advise the difference between what is experienced on the 1 hour standard ticket and visit and the 30 minute express tour in English. Does the 1 hour standard visit include an audioguide with English? Is the 30 minute express tour a guided tour in English? Is there also an 1 hour English guided tour at 11am? If so, how do I purchase tickets for that option and, if so, what is the cost ?

Casa Amatler was not busy like the Gaudi attraction next door and it seemed possible just to turn up shortly before the desired hour. If any wait is entailed the cafe within the building is excellent. I try not to pre-book as anything can happen to have you miss the booking!!
