There were some steps, esp. to visit one site in particular, but the guide I had was accommodating and I'm pretty sure they would find a workaround for your mother-in-law. Doesn't hurt to show up and ask the guides, as there are two or three tours that leave from the same place at the same time. Hope it works out! C.
