I would not recommend it if you have problems with your knees as it is quite hard in parts.The whole tour was a 10/10. And you are climbing in the dark so you can't see the scary parts and going down I focused on the dirt below me and didn't look at any scary bits. t

Hi I am travelling to Bali in July and my wife and I are keen to do this hike, Any thoughts on sunrise versus sunset hike? Are there any advantages to either other than sleeping in-perhaps the sunset hike is less crowded? Thanks for your thoughts, James.

Only did sunrise hike. If you do sunset hike you can stay in hut on top of mountain but take something warm as will be cold at night.

They are an amazing company. If you contact them I'm sure they can accommodate you. By the depending whether u wan to do the sunrise or sunset hike the sunset is very quiet ;-)
