Colon Township is a civil township of St. Joseph County, Michigan. The population was 3,325 at the time of the 2020 census. The village of Colon is located within the township. According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 36.4 square miles, of which 34.6 square miles is land and 1.8 square miles is water.
