I took a five year old and an eight year old. I think it will depend on how adventurous and agile the children are as to how much they enjoy themselves - certainly the five year old was slower than his older sister but still enjoyed it very much. I do know that some of his friends have not enjoyed the tree climb. They are clipped in and safety harnessed
