We went snow tubing and had a nice time. It's a cute little area with 5 or 6 lanes and a magic carpet tow. Not too crowded. There's a ticket window right next to the tubing area, a food truck, severa…Full review by 617valg

Best to call the mountain. But, if there ever were a place that appears dog-friendly, Butternut would be it.

Snow tubing is available in a separate Tubing Area from the ski slopes (meaning you can't conveniently ski in or out of the snow tubing area). It features a "magic carpet" conveyor up a single hill which seems pretty small to me (though I've never "tubed" so don't have much to compare). There are several tracks for tubing straight down a gentle hill -- very few lumps or bumps. I believe tube rentals are separate from ski rentals and must be made at the tubing area, not at the main ski rental shop. If you want to park closest to the Tubing Area, stay left as you enter Butternut and drive to the far end of the parking lot. Butternut has a tubing tab on their web site including some video footage that may be helpful.
