There is a nice open ground with football fields and a cafe, but the best part of this area is at the Martello tower end where you can walk up the cliffs, if you want exercise. Once at the top the views over the sea are amazing. We have walked from here to the Cuckmere Inn, all in a day and this is great if you want to get a varied experience.
