Hi, we are doing Giza (including entrance to Khufu pyramid, Sphinx, a camel ride, Solar boat museum) but all on same day as Saqqara and Memphis. Assuming there's time, How much time would you allow for Saqqara alone? and Memphis? Thanks in advance for your input

For Saqqara I would say 1:30 to 2 hours. For Memphis I can’t tell you because I didn’t go.

Hi, You have enough time to do both in the same day, but i recommend to get a guide with a car because he/she knows how to organize the trip better (how to link the 2 sites, when is not crowded, when is the site opened etc.). Sakkara it's not only about the step pyramid which is under renovation. There are few other tombs there. If your guide is experienced, he/she can get you inside another pyramid from the Sakkara site: King Titi's Pyramid. It's less famous and it looks more like a dune from outside, but the inside makes the visit worth more than the Great Pyramid because the walls are covered in hieroglyphs and the coffin is still there. I did not go to Dahshur, but i did Sakkara, Memphis, Gizah in the same day and i had enough time to enjoy. Good luck!
