Embark on a breathtaking journey through time, beginning above ground along the Ancient Lands Experience. Venture along a pathway winding through native bushland, which leads you to a series of interactive installations that breathe life into the very creation of this remarkable place. Learn about the cultural connections to the land, flora & fauna, the formation of the Leeuwin Naturaliste Ridge and the caves beneath it. Arriving at the entrance to Ngilgi Cave, prepare to be awestruck as you descend into the heart of the cave, where a self-guided adventure awaits. You'll stand in wonder before majestic stalactites, stalagmites, helictites, and beautifully coloured shawls and be enlightened by a guide stationed inside the main chamber.

At $32 full price or $30 concession this venue is much too expensive for local Western Australian residents and families. Neither we, nor our friends, were prepared to spend this amount.Full review by Roving32849259948

There are many steps and staircases around the underground cave complex, which require you to bend to the left or right to avoid outcrops or overhanging ceilings or sidewalls. Coupled with dim lighting in places which makes for tricky navigation while you’re watching your head and your feet. It’s a beautiful and awe inspiring venue but may regrettably not make a visit easy if there’s mobility restrictions.
Do you have to book a ticket for the self guided tour or can you just turn up and pay and do it
