As for time, we stayed about 2 hours but it's quite emotional. My wife had to leave after about half an hour. Definitely worth a visit though

The only ones we could take were the couple things that were hanging up in the hallway before you entered. I believe the other answers listed above saying yes in some areas, have to do with the 911 Memorial site, not Ground Zero Workshop.
