Maguing is one of the biggest Municipalities in Lanao del Sur, having a total land area of 81,500 hectares, it has Thirty Four Barangays with a total population of Twenty four thousand, five hundred thirty one 24,531) based on the 2015 census by the National Statistics Office Survey of population. It is estimated that the population growth every year is 3.5% based on the Census projected percentage and the members of every household is approximated to six members.
