A beautiful place to get out of the cold! A real sanctuary in the middle of the city. We loved it, and it’s near the zoo too, which is free! So when you finish up here you can visit next door tooFull review by Sarah S

Love this oxygen filled warmth and serene glasshouse of exotic plants and flowers. Holiday of Poinsettias did not disapoint. So much beauty and color in a small enviroment. Hint. Make reservations.…Full review by J T

We took the short, pleasant walk here from the Lincoln Park Zoo and it was well worth it. Many exotic and interesting plants to see, and free admission.Full review by Potomac_11

I wonder how old is the Christmas palm? It is incredibly or even impossibly tall. It looks like a different species almost.

Fee is FREE! There is a donation box at front if you want to. Parking is the issue. There is a parking lot to the north and also parking along the east side of the Zoo. These usually fill up fast. There is free street parking but spots are rare. There are bus services that run in front of the conservatory and Zoo. Check with CTA. or, take a cab. You can park for free on the street farther away. Make a day of it and go to the Zoo, free also. There is also a Children's museum about a block or two away but there is a fee for that. Lastly after the conservatory walk through the area to the east. Ponds, plantings all in the prairie style mode. Can't remember the name but anyone around there will direct you. This is also free and you can walk through ( 10 min.) or pick a spot and stay the afternoon and relax. Great area to hang out in for a day or at least an afternoon. john b.

Absolutely! There is an entrance to the zoo right by the Conservatory, near the rhinos! Also, if you wanted to start at the Caldwell Lily Pool, there is kind of a secret turnstile entrance to the zoo near the back of the pond area (I call it a secret because it took me forever to figure out where it was). That turnstile entrance comes out right by the Polar Bears I think, which is just around from the Rhino and therefore close to the Conservatory! Enjoy!
