We were here in September. I can only imagine the falls are more spectacular in the spring. The trail is mostly easy, with some steps at the very end.Full review by parksvisitor

Nice stop on the main park road. Cool waterfall. About 1 mile round trip. Very easy walk for all ages. Located about a mile from visitor centerFull review by ColeridgeBulldawg

This trail is a short trail with some beautiful view so the river and some small falls. I didn't like that all the 'pools' are really man made cement pools. I would only do this hike if you have quit…Full review by Becki C

I'm so sorry that I missed this question. We stayed in a hotel in Mazama, WA (Mazama Country Inn). We were coming from Idaho so we stayed on the East side of North Cascades National Park. We traveled East to West on Hwy 20 throughout the morning and then stopped at Newhalem.
