Is it suitable for an office bound 50 year old mum and 2 slightly built kids aged 12 and 10?
A:
It is one of the most accessible areas, but there is still a small climb up and down a fairly steep path. There are a couple of spots to stop fora breather though.

I was there 1.5 weeks ago and there was water. There had also a bit of rain so hopefully the water levels are still up! The rock formations are so interesting and there's even purple rock here. There are two areas where the water is...to the left, which is the place you're directed to, but on the right there is another swimming water hole which our group much preferred (despite the do not enter signs).

Is the road from Tom Price to Hamersley Gorge suitable for a normal 2wd-car?
A:
Yes, it is gravel but was in excellent condition when we went.
