Great views of Huntsville and surroundings. A nice option to drive or walk up to the top. Parking at the top is tight, and many people do the walk. One more thing that is great about Huntsville.Full review by Tie M

Scenery picturesque hike. Park front gate is closed in winter. Luckily snow falls on the days we was there makes it even more beautiful. Lots of tall trees looks feel secluded at nightFull review by Minh N

I don't remember ever seeing a gate, so would assume you could go anytime.. Just drive up. Of course, daytime is best for the Fall wonderful colour change. Make sure to have a camera or smartphone for photos, especially of the lake view.
