We visited the Home and garden this past week for the second time with our daughter. The admissions price had increased understandably but the tour was a disappointment. The overall experience was very short and no where close to our first experience. Not very informative and the tour only had 5 people in the tour. Felt very rushed. The garden was spectacular and the head grounds keep sure made up for the disappointment of the tour. He made a point to voluntarily answer any questions about flowers we ask. We love the home and garden but for the price increase we expected more ..

Perhaps your party of 5 seemed less engaged because you were attending a second time? My experience was that our tour guide was very informative, cordial, allowed us plenty of time to view the rooms and pieces. He also answered questions that we had. I never felt rushed at all. The price also seems normal in this current financial climate.
Do you share recipes from the restaurant on grounds? Looking for the one on pork chops.
