Home was closed so not a lot to see in regards to the home. The views were spectacular though and it was definitely worth the drive to check it out while in the area.Full review by 395teris

there are some monuments in that area, there is a house, but it said "closed", so we can't enter to take a look. we didn't see much to see there.Full review by ELKW

The winter temp fluctuates a lot in Tennessee with some days in the 60's. If you want to hike to sunset Rock then my advice is if it's a sunny day and the wind isn't blowing then go for it. You will have better views thru the trees. Parking at Cravens house is free. I don't know what they charge to tour the house itself.
I plan on hiking from Cravens House to Sunset Rock. From Sunset Rock to Point Park and then back to Cravens House. Are there signs when the trails fork or should I print a map? Never hiked here and I don't want to get turned around. Thanks!
