Cher dale stepping stones. Brilliant walk, tricky at the time of year as it was so muddy. Beautiful scenery. Very family walk when it's not so wet! Easy to park and follow the trailFull review by Venerable_Julie

Great place sign posted lots to see can be muddy in places so wear suitable footwear loads to see and explore mountains to climb if you want to go off trackFull review by malcolmhB7139WF

Amazing place, the autumn colours were absolutely fabulous. Great views throughout and the stepping stones were a superb addition to the walk.Full review by Andy L
Is there an easy / short way to get down to the stones themselves for those with a low-med fitness level? I can do lots of walks with stairs and such but not where 'scrambling' is involved, too old for that.

It’s very easy to get to, no scrambling. There’s a walkway down beside one of the bridges.
This place looks amazing, are there any sheep/cows in fields along this walk, just checking as my dog would love this walk, I’m an hours drive away so don’t know the area at all. Thanks

Not that I remember. Your dog would have to jump across stepping stones though.
