The provincial campground near the start of the canoe circuit is dark and damp. Spend a bit more for a site at Bowron Lake Lodge a mile away. They are right on the lake shore with spectacular views. Full review by penorman

May I ask how early you booked your trip? I'm planning a trip with a large group 8-10 and want to book early; however, some people cannot commit until late April. We would like to start paddling in Early - Mid June. Do you think April is too late to book?

June is bad for rain and bugs. I would suggest first week of September - kids are back in school so it’s easier to book the larger camp sites

Absolutely not. There are 2 major waterfalls and you have to be able to pull out at the right time. Not to mentions bugs and rain. You will need all your strength to carry your gear and canoe, trust me. Definitely not for children under 10 IMO
