Great stop . This is a very informative museum about early oil production in this area. Would definitely recommend. Very reasonable admission prices and the people were very nice .Full review by stufftogeaux

This was a neat stop. There is free parking and a small gift shop where you purchase your $5 self-guided tour ticket along with any souvenirs. Walk at your own pace and read the signs or view the art…Full review by Dewayne P

Hi, We plan to visit the Spindletop-Gladys City Museum. Please tell me what the average time is that a person might spend here? From the time you arrive, walk around, take a tour, read, learn the history….and then leaves. I know everyone is different but I do not want to cut our time short. Thanks Donna

If you read and learn the history, plan on 2 to 3 hours. The buildings out on the grounds are not heated so dress warmly.
