Beacon Hill is tucked away off the main road but is signposted and has two parking areas at the foot of the hill. Through the gate at the car park and then an ascending, well worn, mud path through … Full review by ATraveller363

I would say 30 minutes, less if you're a keen walker and less any stopping time for a breather. It is steep and treacherous more so if it's wet ground. I think there is only 1 route up from the car park at the further most end as you drive in.. Follow the tree lined run off stream up to the entrance proper, it's easier and quicker coming down as you'll know what to expect. Just be sure of your footing as lots of tree roots up to the entrance gate and crumbly chalk steps eroded into the Hill. I think it's a great walk and amazing views await. The 5th Earl is buried on the other side of the Hill a bit lower down.
